5 Simple Ways To Create Your Life Mantra

Mantras are defined as reaffirming  words that have the power to define and shape your life. Mantras are the puzzle pieces that glue your life together. I believe mantras can help you speak into existence the life you desire to live. Regular quotes we recite on a daily basis can become our mantras in life. This month I decided to create a personal life mantra to stay focus on the life I want to cultivate. It has been a great experience for me because when I have down days I remember my mantra, Live, Laugh, Love. I wanted to live more, laugh more & love more in 2015. Below are simple ways to create a mantra that can give your life a boost to flow in the right direction.

Tips To Create Your Life Mantra

1. Favorite Quotes. Think of your favorite quote and underline the words that stick out to you. Then try to connect a mantra that fits the life you want to create.

2. Words are powerful. Words have the power to create, transform or destroy our lives. It is important to speak positive life giving words instead of words that can create the life we do not desire. Take inventory of all the negative words you say and replace them with positive words.

3. Research. Research key phrases that pinpoint the journey you are currently on in your life.

4. Simplicity. Make sure your mantra is something that is effective and you can remember it. Keep it simple and sweet.

5. Write it down, Recite & Repeat. In order to keep your life mantra present it will be important to write it down and stick it in a visible place you can recite everyday.

These are five simple steps to help you create a life mantra that will keep you inspired, centered and focused on your journey ahead!

Reinvent Yourself & Your Life

I was shackled to the bed as the covers held me captive. I wanted to leave but the pillows were situated at a perfect angle elevating my head to sleepy land. I was feeling drugged with the dose of sleep deprivation. I knew the probation officer would soon scream in my ear. I hated alarm clocks I just wanted to sleep until my body was well rested. I began to slowly crawl out the bed to go to the bathroom.

For a short minute I stood in darkness not wanting to wake myself up. The lights shine brightly on my face and I saw an unfamiliar reflection. It was a reflection of sadness, a profound misery. The routine of my life was screaming for attention. In this moment I knew it was time for a change, I needed to reinvent my life.

Have you ever felt like the scenario given above? I believe we all have been in a place where routine was driving us crazy and we needed a fresh start in our life. As we grow as human beings we should always strive to reinvent our self.  Growth pushes us to change what we have been doing. In order to stop the staleness from molding our growth we have to be willing to fill our life with freshness. A new year is always a good time to reinvent your life and your self.

Reinventing yourself and your life is a soul journey that changes your perspective on life. You become captivated by living in the present moment, enjoying the moment instead of clinging to the past or worrying about the future. Below are tips to help you reinvent your life and yourself.

Reinventing Tips
1. Assess the areas of your life where stagnacy resides.
2. Observe where you have grown and what no longer serves a purpose in your life.
3. Be willing to expand your territory and find new ground.
4. Search deeper to hear where your life is leading you.
5. Look at the big picture and take risk for expansion.
6. Be willing to move past your comfort zone. The more you grow the more uncomfortable you will get.
7. Continue to grow larger and never be satisfied with stagnation.
8.Take time to meditate to reflect on where you are at and where you must
go.

New Year, New Goals

Holidays are over and now we began to focus on our list of things to accomplish for a new year. It is customary for people to make resolutions, go on a vision board frenzy to declare their path for success. However, as the New Year has boldly proclaimed its entrance it's time to make sure you have plans to execute your goals.

I stopped making new year resolutions and began to make goals. It was more realistic to me to list my goals than to talk about things I would do for a new year. Goals are more effective because they give you a clear sense of the direction you are willing to take to make your dream a reality. In order to obtain all that is due to you make a list of your goals for each area of your life. After you list your goals then it is time to break them up into smaller goals. Each goal you list should be realistic and obtainable to execute within a certain time frame.

The next step is to create a plan of action to accomplish your goals. It will be important to review all the necessary things you may need to produce each goal. When you do a plan of action you may need to reassess what activities you need to withdraw from and deposit your time into the things that are bringing you closer to your goal. Planning strategically will help you complete each goal successfully. Do not forget to make a calendar timeline for your expected completion dates.

The last thing to do to make your new year goals reachable is execution. Life obstacles will come but you have to stay focused on completing the goals you set forth. The greatest thing to do is to eliminate distractions and surround yourself with people moving in the same direction as you are. It is up to you to keep the vow you made to yourself.

Just remember to Stay Motivated & Kill Procrastination!
